Olivia Ho is a writer born and based in Singapore. She studied English literature at University College London and has just graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a masters in Literature and Modernity. She owes the inspiration for her work to her parents—her mother, who taught her how to love the history of her island, and her father, whose idea of steampunk is “KILLER ROBOT SAMSUI WOMEN.” Besides writing, her other random talents include Arabic bellydance, stage management, and knitting, and perhaps one day all three at the same time.
