Isha Karki

Isha Karki is a research student at Newcastle University, UK, and an editor of Mithila Review. She worked in publishing for a few years before opting for some good-for-the-soul solo travel, and now she writes essays about feminist theory, women, and violence in South Asian literature and film. She grew up on a healthy dose of Bollywood, fanfiction, and dystopian literature. She is deeply invested in post-colonial narratives, feminist perspectives, and SFF that isn’t white-washed. Her work has appeared in Lightspeed, Mithila Review, and Mslexia.
