Amit Tayal

Born and raised in Delhi, Amit grew up reading comic books and watching Disney movies. Trading his superhero sketches for homework, He always wanted to become an artist. He spent his early career in animation but he always felt passion for comic and book illustrations. In his journey he worked for various publication houses and production studios and achieved national recognition in India and at Comic-Con India, where he won top awards for his art in 2011, 2012, and 2013. You may recognize his work from his ongoing work on internationally acclaimed Super Sikh comics, and past titles such as Steve Jobs -Genius by Design, The Jungle Book, Alibaba and Forty Thieves -Reloaded, The Three Musketeers, Conquering Everest, Swiss Family Robinson, The Forest, The Tempest, IPL (web comics), The Legend of Karna Vol-2 and Kalki, The Golden Book, and various covers and concept arts for Vimanika Comics. From cute children's books to gritty, ominous illustrations for games, comics, and graphic novels, he loves all type of illustrations, He travels with his Cintiq drawing tablet everywhere and just loves the flexibility of working digitally.
