Dr. Reynaldo Anderson currently serves as an Associate Professor of Communications at Harris-Stowe State University. Reynaldo was recognized by Gov. Jay Nixon in 2010 for his leadership in the Saint Louis community and is currently a member of the executive board of the Missouri Arts Council. Finally, Reynaldo publishes research in regard to several dimensions of the African American experience, and the African Diaspora including Afrofuturism, Rhetoric, Cultural Studies, Africana Studies, globalization and world systems theory, and recently taught as visiting lecturer in Accra, Ghana. Finally, he is the co-editor of the forthcoming book Afrofuturism 2.0: The Rise of Astro-Blackness to be published by Lexington books in December 2015.
